Stevenson Search Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Tania Philipp to Chief Human Resources Officer at Galapagos where she will be instrumental in shaping the culture and talent infrastructure needed to support the company’s ongoing strategic evolution. Ms. Philipp will also join the company’s Management Committee.
Galapagos is a biotechnology company focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing promising therapies for patients with serious diseases in areas of unmet need, prioritizing oncology and immunology.
Ms. Philipp joins Galapagos from Chicago with close to 30 years of HR executive experience in life sciences, where she has built a reputation for shepherding organizations through complex periods of change. Her career spans senior people leadership roles at Vor Bio, where she served as Chief People Officer and most recently as an Executive HR Consultant, as well as Vice President of Human Resources at Tango Therapeutics and progressive HR leadership roles at Bavarian Nordic, where she rose to Executive Director of Human Resources. Ms. Philipp has also held HR leadership positions at Mendel Biotechnology and Sunesis Pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Philipp holds an M.A. in Psychology from the University of the Pacific and attended Hollins University.
