Gaz Gilmour

As a Principal at Stevenson, Gaz brings extensive executive search experience having spent the majority of his career partnering with emerging, venture backed biotechnology clients who are passionate about scientific innovation and building great companies. His experience has centered around C Level and Functional Leadership Roles across Research & Development, Operations, Finance and Business Development. Prior to joining Stevenson, Gaz served as a Principal for a boutique search firm where he was responsible for leading search projects with functional concentration on C-Suite and Board of Director appointments.

Gaz began his career in Physical Therapy working for Amedisys Home Health, the nation’s largest home health care company. He then moved into the business side of Healthcare and became a Regional Account Executive. From there, he was recruited to lead Orthopedic rehabilitation for St. Vincent’s in Cleveland, working closely with some of the area’s top Orthopedic specialists. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Social Sciences specializing in Physical Therapy from Glasgow Caledonian University and has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science.

Gaz is married with four children and recently committed to volunteer all of his spare time to being the Director of Coaching for his city’s Soccer Organization. It’s been quite a blow to his golf game!
